Whether you want to provide guests with Wi-Fi access for a wedding or connect vendor payment systems at an event, our team can help where cellular can’t!

We’ve worked with events ranging from charity dinners to rodeos and can provide vendor-dedicated and/or guest Wi-Fi. Contact us for a custom quote today! We typically set up service the day before the event to account for any unforeseen issues, then tear down on the next business day. Available speeds depend on clear line of sight and the technology used at our available hilltop sites.

What to Expect

Installation

We temporarily install a radio similar to those used by our residential and business customers to provide the primary internet connection. This can be mounted on a tripod or a non-penetrating mount to minimize disruption to the property. From the radio, an Ethernet cable runs to an outdoor box containing the power supply and primary Wi-Fi router. Multiple mesh Wi-Fi units can be added to extend coverage if necessary.

Electrical

Standard 120V, 3-prong electrical power—whether from a wall outlet or generator—is highly recommended. While we can run most equipment on battery power, this adds complexity and cost to the setup.

Wi-Fi

One or more Wi-Fi networks can be created, with or without passwords, depending on your needs. Client isolation and speed limits help prevent unruly guests from hogging bandwidth or interfering with vendor devices. When extending coverage, we typically use outdoor-rated, weatherproof routers, like the white cylinder pictured on the vertical post above.
