Extending Wi-Fi to a barn, workshop, or outbuilding is one of the more common requests we get. A weatherproofed access point mounted to an existing structure, managed remotely alongside the rest of the property network, often solves years of frustration.

Some properties we serve have no grid power where it’s needed. We’ve configured radio hardware to run via solar and battery systems, sizing the load to stay within available power budgets and keep the link up around the clock.

When outdoor access points, cameras, or IoT devices can’t reach the main network, we install a small relay to bridge the gap. Hardware is typically mounted to existing structures and can be painted or positioned to blend in. The brown NanoBeam in this photo is easy to miss.

Battery Backup for Network Uptime

A UPS or lithium battery bank behind the router keeps connectivity up through power outages. We’ve done this for clients who rely on cameras or remote access during fire season and can’t afford gaps in coverage.

Low-Voltage Wiring

Ethernet Runs and Low-Voltage Wiring

Connecting gate keypads, solar controllers, and other fixed equipment often means running Ethernet and terminating it properly at both ends. We also configure DC-powered switching for locations where running AC power isn’t practical.

TV, Printer & Smart Device Setup

Not every call involves complex infrastructure. We get regular requests to connect televisions, printers, and smart home devices — especially after a move or router change. Some connect easily; others need network adjustments or firmware updates to behave.

Abandoned Network Recovery

A recurring job is inheriting a network nobody fully understands: previous contractors, forgotten hardware, unlabeled cables, and overlapping SSIDs. We map it, clean it up, and document what’s left so the next person isn’t starting from scratch.
