Location and Solar Data
To download solar and weather data, the app sends the latitude and longitude you enter (or your current location, if you tap Use Current Location) and an API key to the NLR Developer Network's National Solar Radiation Database. Your settings, saved projects and downloaded solar data are stored only on your device.
Data Security
We care about the security of your data, but no method of sending information over the internet or storing it electronically is 100% secure. We use reasonable methods to protect your data, but we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
- Our app is not for anyone under 13 years old.
- We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you're a parent and know your child provided data, please contact us.
- If we find out we've collected data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we'll remove it. If required, we may ask for parental consent.
