Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Kiza, Inc. ("Kiza," "we," "us") handles information in connection with the Map Data application ("the App"). We designed Map Data to keep your data on your device. In short: we do not operate servers that collect your data, we do not track you, and we do not sell your information.
Summary
- Map Data does not require an account and does not collect personal information on our servers.
- The data you import or create stays on your device.
- We include no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
- Optional AI features send only the query you provide to the AI provider you choose, using your own API key.
- Your AI provider API keys are stored securely in the device Keychain.
Information You Provide
Map Data works with the data you choose to bring into it:
- Imported files and URLs. When you import a CSV file or load a CSV from a URL, the App reads that data to build your map. This data is processed on your device and is not transmitted to Kiza.
- Maps you create. The maps, styles, and datasets you produce remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
Optional AI Features
Map Data lets you generate map data by sending a request to a third-party AI provider that you select — currently Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google (Gemini). These features are entirely optional. When you use them:
- The text of your query is sent directly from your device to the AI provider you chose in order to generate a response.
- The request is authenticated with an API key that you supply.
- Kiza does not operate an intermediary server for these requests and does not receive, log, or store your queries or their results.
Your use of an AI provider is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. We encourage you to review them:
API Keys and Credentials
If you enter an API key to use an AI provider, that key is stored securely in the device Keychain on your device. It is used only to authenticate your requests to the provider you selected. Kiza never receives or has access to your API keys, and you can remove a key at any time from within the App.
Exporting and Sharing
When you export a map as SVG, PDF, PNG, or CSV, or share it using the iOS share sheet, the destination and handling of that file are determined by you and by the app or service you share it with. Kiza is not involved in and does not receive those exports.
Information We Do Not Collect
Map Data does not collect, and Kiza does not receive, personal identifiers, contacts, location data, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or the contents of your datasets. The App contains no third-party analytics or advertising software development kits.
Children's Privacy
Map Data is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
